Questions about Bluetooth tracker detection, answered plainly.

Contact FTW-Labs
What can a Bluetooth tracker detector find?

Tracker Detect scans nearby Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) advertisements and highlights signals that may be associated with item trackers. Other devices, including headphones and watches, may appear in a scan. Detection depends on the signal, device behavior and your phone’s permissions. It cannot find GPS-only devices, hidden cameras or phone spyware. No scan can guarantee that an area is free of trackers.

Can I use it as an AirTag detector?

AirTags use Bluetooth, but detecting and identifying a particular tracker depends on its state, the signals it broadcasts and platform restrictions. Tracker Detect does not guarantee that every AirTag will be detected or identified. Keep your phone’s built-in unwanted-tracking alerts enabled and follow any alert’s instructions.

Tracker Detect is an independent app by FTW-Labs. It is not Apple’s Tracker Detect app and is not affiliated with Apple.

How do I check for a tracker in my car?

Enable Bluetooth and the app’s required permissions, then scan near your car. Review unfamiliar devices and compare repeat observations. Premium Live Locate can help investigate a detectable nearby signal as its strength changes.

A phone’s Bluetooth scan cannot locate GPS-only trackers or devices that are off or not broadcasting. A result is a clue to investigate, not proof that you are being tracked.

Is Tracker Detect available for iPhone and Android?

Yes. On the App Store, look for Tracker Detector: Nearby Scan. On Google Play, look for Nearby Scan: Tracker Detector by FTW-Labs. You may also see the name TrackGuard inside the app. The download buttons on this page open the official listings.

Which features require Premium?

Premium adds Live Locate signal guidance, additional device evidence, background scan alerts and advanced scan settings. A subscription is required for Premium features. Current plans, prices and renewal terms are shown in the app before purchase.

Does the app scan continuously in the background?

Premium includes background monitoring when enabled. Availability depends on Bluetooth, operating-system permissions, battery settings and device behavior. Alerts and uninterrupted scanning are not guaranteed.

Does an unknown device mean someone is tracking me?

No. An unknown device may be an ordinary nearby accessory. Tracker-like signals and repeated detections provide context, but they do not prove ownership or intent. Review the evidence, mark devices you recognize as known, and use your phone’s built-in unwanted-tracking guidance when available.

How does the app handle my data?

Detection history is stored locally on your phone. The app also uses services for analytics, diagnostics and subscription management. See the privacy policy for data-handling details.
